少し過ごしやすい日もありましたが、35℃を超える日もあり「暑いね～！」が合言葉のようになる日々です。
子どもたちと水の心地よさや不思議さ、発見を楽しむ様子をお伝えします。
Although we've had a few cooler days recently, we've also experienced plenty of days with temperatures soaring above 35°C (95°F). It seems "It's so hot!" has become everyone's favorite phrase this summer! Even in the heat, the children have been making wonderful memories as they enjoy the coolness, surprises, and discoveries that water play brings.
１歳児クラスは初めての水遊び★
始める前には、いくつか約束をして安全にも気を付けます。
繰り返し伝えることで子どもたちも一緒に手振り身振りで確認していますよ。
Our one-year-old class experienced water play for the very first time! Before we began, we talked about a few simple safety rules. By reviewing them regularly, the children have started using gestures and actions to remind one another, showing just how quickly they are learning.
怖がるかな…なんて少しドキドキしていた担任の気持ちはなんのその！
夢中になって楽しんでいます。
I wondered at first if anyone might be hesitant, but those worries disappeared the moment the water came out! The children eagerly jumped in and became completely absorbed in exploring.
「なんかくすぐったい！？」 「もてるかな？」 「どーぞ」
"That tickles!"
"Can I hold it?"
"Here you go!"
この嬉しそうな顔！！
「キャー！！！」という声が聞こえてきますね。
Their bright smiles said it all—you could hear delighted squeals of "Eeee!" filling the air.
ぼくは、水を入れたい！ ここにも入れたい！ どうにか入れたい！
"I want to pour the water!"
"Put some here too!"
"I can do it!"
一人ひとりやりたいこと、夢中になっていること、発見が違って面白いですね。
繰りかえし水遊びを楽しむ中での発見が、次の遊びへと広がっていくのが８月も楽しみです。
It is always amazing to see how each child discovers something different. Some enjoyed pouring, others loved feeling the water on their hands, while some carefully experimented in their own way. Watching each child explore at their own pace reminds us that every small discovery is an important part of learning. We are excited to see how these experiences inspire even more creative play throughout August.
異年齢クラスはペイント遊び★
用意してある様子を見ているだけでわくわくしてきますね♫
Our mixed-age class also had a wonderful time with a painting activity. Simply seeing the paints and brushes waiting for them filled the room with excitement.
筆を使って、色が走る様子を楽しみ… 次第に絵具は手へ♡
The children began by carefully painting with brushes, enjoying the way the colors spread across the paper. Before long, their hands became part of the artwork too! ♡
各々自分のスタイルで楽しみました♪
There were smiles, laughter, and lots of creative exploration as each child expressed themselves in their own unique way.
最後は泡遊び★
沢山かき混ぜると、泡がなんだか増えてきた！！
To finish the day, we enjoyed some foam play. The more the children stirred, the more fluffy bubbles appeared, bringing even more excitement.
カップに詰めいくぞぉ～
“Let’s fill the cups!”

手ですくって思わず「フ～♡」
They scooped up the soft foam with their hands, gently blew on the bubbles, and watched them float away with wonder and delight.
まだまだこれからが夏本番！
来月もわくわく楽しい時間を過ごすぞ～♫♪
Summer has only just begun, and we look forward to creating many more happy memories together. We can't wait to see what exciting adventures and new discoveries next month will bring!
